This is an apparent knock off of the Old Spaghetti Factory.
Who are they kidding.
Next: Sioux Falls, SD.
Although the Falls first seemed small and unimpressive, the more we saw and learned about them the more interested we became. Here a couple highlights:
We Learned that Rocks Are Slippery
And that we should not take our own picture.
And then we left, and drove rapidly, with great anticipation, to the CORN PALACE. It was closed, and dark, but I doubt we missed anything.
Stopping to switch places we happened upon Casey's Cafe (which we forgot to take a picture of - the one below is courtesy of a google search). It turns out to be somewhat of a landmark, having been recoginzed by Reader's Digest and the New York Times for their cheeseburgers. They were quite good!
Full and tired, we forged on to Wall, SD, home of Wall Drug, which we will see in the morning. For now, we are in a nicer hotel, with internet access and padded chairs.

Jennifer, now you know tobacco is expensive and you shouldn't complain about a little leftover tabac. Ha! Also, I like how the range of reviews for the Cafe ranges from the NYTimes to Reader's Digest, right behind the Humor in Uniform section...
Sioux Falls seems to be of a braggadocios name for the city if those are truly THE falls. Ha! I like the O pictures and especially the woman looking at Bryan. It's really pretty damn funny.
Long Live the Corn Palace! (at night!)
Waiting for the next days pictures and tales!
Is Oprah aware Omaha is using her letter? Didn't she legally buy it?
Anxiously awaiting the update to Crazy Horse and of course I can't wait to see a decent photo of Mt. Rushmore.
Be Careful!
Hey I wanted to tell you that we finished season 3 of West Wing and started in on Season 4 last night. We watched the premiere, where they miss the motorcade and hilarity ensues. Also where Lily Tomlin interviews for the third time with the President - hilarious! Anyway I looked up and it was 12: friggin 30! So of course it's 6:57 and I am so tired. So needless to say we deduced that the premiere was well over an hour and we will finish it tonight!
OMG this is so fun! I kind of feel like I am there, just with less rocks and more locks! (Not intended to rhyme) I wonder if Mt Rushmore trip #1 spawned your love of all things Presidential? If so, will this viewing cease the madness? It's doubtful!
Have fun, blog often, and carry a big stick.
