A day of firsts

Today was a day of firsts. It was the first time that I attended a Rams football game. Truthfully, it's the first time that I have watched a Rams football game in any capacity. I got tickets through Big Brothers Big Sisters, so I got to go for free, and I got to go onto the field! It was a great way to experience football for the first time. We were very close to the cheerleaders - maybe too close.

It was also my first outing with my little sister, Di'Onna. Here we are on the field.

It was the first time that I have been welcomed to anything on a jumbotron.

It was the first time that I tried out my digital zoom in a sports arena.

I was the first time that I have seen six year-olds in full makeup and short-shorts. You should have seen the mothers getting them ready. I wanted to scream.

And finally, it was the first time that I have enjoyed killing time by walking in circles around the stadium. It really was a lot of fun.
